| noticed and meet some great people along the way. We’ve created a simple explanation about online parties to help you in becoming familiar with how to do an online party, why to do an online party and how to get sales from your online party! What is an Online Party? An online party is just like a home party except you’re in the comfort of your own home and logged into a chat room on the internet. You are the host of the party or you can set up for someone else to do an online party and be the host who will reap the rewards of a party just like they would if they had a home party. How does an Online Party work? An online party works much in the same way as a home party. You will log into the chat room, arriving a few minutes early is a good idea so that if guests happen to show up early you can welcome them and let them know you will be starting soon. It’s a good idea too to get started at your scheduled time with your party, you’ ll have guests come and go all throughout your party but that’s okay too, you just welcome them as they come and say goodbye as they leave while doing your presentation. It’s a good idea too to have some notes and have your web site opened up in a separate window so that you can refer to certain pages on your site for them to view. Copying and pasting will come in handy. As new visitors enter the room you should welcome them and give them your web site so that they can start viewing it as well. You will talk about your company focusing on the key points of your products, opportunities and maybe featuring a certain product or products. Especially a good idea with new products that have come out to feature them to your customers. Let them know what your special deals are for the party and how to order. You will take sales through this party either through your web site or by having them e- mail orders to you and will invoice them for their order. It’s a good idea to have a special deal for your parties. Like offering a buy 1 get 1 free or free shipping or a % off their orders. After talking a bit about your company and asking for questions you could ask the crowd who would be interested in playing a game. This is a great way to get everyone involved and have a lot of fun. There are a variety of games you could play to get them interested and looking around your web site full of products. The number one thing to remember for your online party to be a success is to ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE, ADVERTISE There are LOTS of online parties on the internet anymore and no one will know it is going on if you don’t let them know. Anywhere you can advertise will help get customers there. I usually advertise for my parties at least a week ahead of time and then daily for that week before the party. Then the day of the party advertise an hour before, right before the party starts and maybe have a few ads set up to deliver during the party. As you can see after reading this information, online parties are a great fun way to promote your online business! There are so many possibilities to hosting an online party and different ways to go about how you run your own online party. But having fun while being professional and courteous and getting the information to anyone you can is a great way to build your business and make your online party a huge success. Hosting an online party not only gives you a chance to get your business noticed but allows you to do it from the comfort of your own home! BUT you can also ruin your business if you aren’t careful. Be sure to be 100% honest about your business, don’t lie just to try and make a sale and NEVER promise anything to your visitors without following through. Promising to send a free gift to someone and then never falling through could not only cost you that 1 customer but could cost you your business. We hope this has helped you in understanding about online parties and invite you to join us for our online parties here at MyBouya.com!
